Abilene Christian University (ACU) occurs as personal university located in Abilene, Texas, affiliated with Churches of Christ. ACU was founded within 1906, as Childers Classical Institute. ACU has an annual enrollment of astir 5,000 students from either through a US and 60 nations.
History
Abilene Christian University grew from either an ideThe held by A. B. Barret & Charles Roberson to form the school inside West Texas. A Church of Christ within Abilene agreed to back a task. J. W. Childers Classical Institute opened in the fall of 1906, with Xxv students.
